I'm not in any pain, so why do I need to see Dr. Kritzman?

Your dental health is vital to your overall health. Did you know that gum disease has been linked to numerous systemic problems, including heart attacks and strokes? In addition, cavities may not cause discomfort, but can still deteriorate the tooth. When cavities are small, they are much easier and less expensive to treat. At your regular checkup, Dr. Kritzman will give you a detailed examination and determine if you have early signs of dental health problems.

Will treatment hurt?

At Kritzman Dental Arts, we use a variety of sedation and comfort dentistry techniques to ensure you experience anxiety-free treatments. We only proceed if you’re completely numb, and if you feel any discomfort during the procedure, raise your left hand. We’ll stop the process, give you more Novocain, and take a breather while the numbing agent takes effect.

How much will my dental procedures cost?

If you are postponing making an appointment because you’re worried that you can’t afford dental care, we offer flexible payment plans, including interest-free financing. Plus, we welcome all insurance plans. Postponing needed dental care often results in more extensive and expensive procedures, so don’t delay another moment!

With a busy job and family, when can I find time for an appointment?

We know you’re busy with work and family obligations. And we also know the importance of your dental health! We offer early morning hours to minimize interference with your busy day. Contact us now for your appointment!

What is nitrous oxide?

Nitrous oxide is a sedative gas you breathe through a small mask over your nose. The relaxed and dissociated feeling disappears soon after the gas is turned off. You can drive back to your home or office responsibilities right away.

How is the intraoral camera used?

The phrase "one picture is worth a thousand words" is certainly a truth today. With intraoral cameras, we can capture images magnified many times, allowing us improved diagnostic ability. The benefit is a clear and graphic picture of conditions and potential problems you can see as we explain your dental condition and your treatment options.

What is the purpose of a crown?

The purpose of a crown is to protect and strengthen a brittle, weakened or badly broken tooth. If your tooth has had a root canal or has a deteriorated or large filling, it can also benefit from the function and aesthetics of a porcelain crown.

Why replace missing teeth?

The normal arrangement of teeth is impacted by the loss of one or more teeth. As teeth drift out of position, changes in the bite can lead to clicking of the jaw, headaches and jaw pain. Also, patients with missing teeth have higher risks of gum disease and tooth loss. Replacing your missing teeth can also improve your confidence and repair the aesthetics of your smile.
